I tried a user driver on a device and it had a few more Current States & State Variables
Then the Generic Drive does / Did and now they will not go away ?>
Even though I switched back to the Generic driver ..
I tried a few things .. and also tried to change the driver to just "device"
and they went away till I switched back to the generic driver again ..
Anyway to get rid of them ?
While it's unlikely to matter, you can temporarily switch to the "Device" driver and run commands to delete state variables, current states, and anything else it offers that you may be concerned about (scheduled jobs from other drivers are a common cause of actual errors, even if normally harmless, but you can easily see already if there are any). Then, switch back to your desired driver. You may need to run "Configure" after doing this once you switch back.
