I have found several posts about resetting device, then adding device, etc. i can add the device but nothing happens when i push the buttons and it looks like the old thread is closed?
Can anyone help with how to get this added and working properly?

I used the L & R buttons to join(L) & exclude(R) the device from Hubitat. Make sure to exclude first before pairing. It's a very powerful device once paired correctly. Make sure to remove(z-wave exclude) it properly and factory reset it, then exclude it, then pair it again

Thanks for the feedback, after 10 times of trying to add this one and my second one i did the factory reset and then added the device and then excluded it and then added it and then i edited the device and entered 1 and hit push button and then tried the buttons again and started to see the events in the log. I also disabled debugging on it as well.

Awesome, so glad you got it working. The device is much more powerful than is evident. It can actually unpair other Z-wave devices and act as a secondary controller, so be certain of what you're doing.
BTW- welcome aboard and prepare to be amazed. The flexibility & functionality of HE are really incredible.
I just bought a Remotec ZRC-90US and I am having trouble getting it to work. I did get it added to my hub but I could not get any of the button actions to show up in the Hub, even though the logs showed battery status updates. I figured I would try and exclude/reset/exclude/include and see if that would fix it. It did not, and now I can't even get it included. I have done the exclude/factory reset/exclude/include dance more times than I can count.
One question: did the led actually light up per the manual? Mine did not. I haven't seen the device led actually behave as described in the manual. Any help/hints would be great - I think the device could be very very useful, but now I can't seem to even get it included. I feel like the device is in some mode that I don't understand, so I'm pressing buttons thinking its doing one thing and its doing something else... ugh!!!!

I finally got it to work. Two things to keep in mind when trying to add the Remotec ZRC-90US:
The button presses are a little longer than you might think. So when the manual indicates to "press the "R" button" to exclude", I had to hold it just a little longer than you might think. Wait for the LED light to blink to indicate the device is in exclusion mode.
I had to start the inclusion process in Hubitat BEFORE I put the device into inclusion mode. The manual says to put the device into inclusion mode and then put "the target device" into inclusion mode. So much for the manual.
