@j715, you may want to redact the hub ID and send it via a PM.
I knew better, just wasn't thinking...
That is not normal. My Hub has been up for 3 days, checked in a few hours ago.
This is with 2.3.9.184
Des the C5 hub also only check in when it reboots?
It's hard for me to tell. Usually since I can't remote admin to it, I do a reboot and thus the checkin is at the reboot time. I will pay a little more attention to it before a reboot to see if it's checking in. But I think the last time I was having problems it hadn't checked in since the reboot and that was more than a day.
The C5 does show checkin times that do change, so it is obviously working ok. I haven't rebooted the C5 as it hasn't been needed.
So far this morning things are still working. I rebooted the C8 yesterday at 8 am. I checked this morning and it shows a checkin time of 3 am today. So it obviously checks in periodically. The C5 shows a 2:30 check in. I checked the hubs at my house and they are all around the same time.
How often does it try to check in? If the internet is down at that particular time does it keep trying?
Not sure on the exact logic it uses there, but the newest .184 update added an "hourly cloud reconnect" so in theory if it does get disconnected from the cloud it should come back within an hour.
I just updated the firmware to .184 Tuesday. So maybe that has finally got stabilized and it solved the issue. Will see over the next few days.
