Something changed and now name and number are under the same function. If both lines aren't filled a pop-up warning occurs. If both are filled nothing happens to WLED and an error in the log appears.
Just an updated comment for anyone looking for WLED integration, I've just installed this driver since I already had an MQTT broker setup and running. I tried the other driver from the community and while it worked, the fact that it didn't sync back and forth with WLED was causing me problems. This one was easy to setup and works great. No issues so far. I do not see the issue @crispycarlin mentioned above.
I'm still using it. My brother was able walk me through the code.
This app has been solid since.
