[RELEASE] Web hosted HousePanel - beta users needed

Hi folks. I've been on here for more than 5 years periodically talking about my HousePanel dashboard app. HousePanel has always required a fairly complex install process that made it only feasible for the most sophisticated geeks here. Well today is an important day in the life of HousePanel.

Today i am releasing a beta version of a web-based public facing version of HousePanel that can be used without any complicated local server installation. All you need is a web browser and the installation of the HousePanel groovy app using Hubitat Package Manager.

Before everyone in the HE community jumps at this, let me tell you that I'm only making this available today to a select few beta users (max 5) upon request. This post is to solicit interested parties for trying it out.

DM me if you are interested and I will tell you the port number to log into the app at https://housepanel.net:port

The documentation at https://housepanel.net still talks about how to install using a rPI so ignore that and be patient for updated documentation.

I spent the last 6 months working on this and debugging it, but I know from experience that HousePanel is complex enough that there will likely be bugs. This is why I am soliciting beta users before opening it up to everyone. I will accept only 5 beta users, and each beta user will get to use HousePanel for free for 6 months. Once released there will be a subscription fee.

So what does HousePanel offer? Simply put, HousePanel is the most flexible dashboard available for Hubitat hubs. It has a built in graphical tile editor, a tile customizer for creating custom tiles, and a built-in rule engine. The Tile Customizer can even bring fields from multiple devices into a single visual Tile, thereby creating the illusion of a make-believe multi-component device. HousePanel supports user icons that can be uploaded and assigned to any tile. There are far too many features to describe here, but here is some eye candy to give you a sense of what it can do.

DM me if you want to be one of the first 5 beta testers. Please note that this version being beta tested is hosted on my server so it does not run fully local.

I've been tinkering with it quite a bit and now have it in a good state for accepting beta users. The old confusing panel name is gone. The groovy app is installed using HPM. And no Node.js config is needed. Just point your browser and create an account. Anybody?
