its not just that there is no way ever to delete it.. no delete button on the app device page as well as it doesnt show up in devices

here is the issue.. there is no delete option at all on the device configuration. and removing and reinstalling the app also doesnt delete it..

The File Manager + app will allow you to find and delete those files; not as convenient as built-in to Watchtower, but it works well.

yes but that does not delete the device and then u get errors after the .csv files are dele

I'm running WT 4.1.1. I see a trash can icon to the right of every Device that will remove the device and it's associated data files.

Judging from both of your screenshots it doesn't look like the hub attributes create a device to delete.

no I'm thinking it's a bug if the text is too long it doesn't appear

watchtower doesn't create actual devices. its picking devices that already have attributes to graph

you may be right i put a debugging line in showing what the devices are returned in the code that generates that html

in my case the 2nd item is null and that is what is used to generated the button,

not sure why it is null?

Oh, now I see what you mean. It's not a bug, the "Hubitat Hub" entry is added by default when the app is installed, and cannot be removed.

thanks now I see what your talking about. ok not sure why it started errors on a hub update. that's why I was trying to remove it. only recourse was a total remove and app and restall. sorry to bother u

Hello, the bring your own data function is not working with the cloud dashboard. I have following error in settings : DatastoreHelper.downloadFile(/local/Conso_casa_energy_by_period_live.csv): HTTP error: status = 403

Released version 4.2.0 with the following changes:

Add Watchtower Events (optional) driver to help add Watchtower events from automations

Big overhaul of the HTML/CSS with minimal UI impact

There is also an optional driver available if you want to create events from automations, not just from the UI. To install the drivcer code, first update to version 4.2.0, then use the Modify option in HPM.

I had trouble transitioning between 4.1 and 4.2. I was getting warnings that the date needs to be converted but got that all of the time. I got errors with the new features too. So I am trying to start clean. I deleted all of the wt_xyz files. Are the graph_xyz files related and need to be deleted too? I can't remember which devices were for the wt_ files, so I can't be sure if the graph_ files are the same devices or not! ID10T error.
