Thank you for the test, unfortunately nothing is received from this device... What I can suggest is to pair it again really close to HE hub, and if still nothing ( you can observe the rxCounter from the State variables - it counts the number of the received pacets from the device) - leave it and move on. Obviously, this sensor has something too much non-standard and will not make it with Hubitat.

The sensor is right behind my back. This is what I saw after I went to the bathroom for a while.
And basically, I don't know well, but I think it's unconditionally detected for more than 60 to 90 seconds.
But with a traditional motion sensor, it was probably changed to undetected in the middle.
It is now displayed as a motion sensor, not a presence sensor. This seems natural because you used the driver you made.

The sensor was able to set these two, with a default value detected for 24 seconds and a distance adjustable in Tuya.

Now, this sensor is converted to undetected after 80 to 85 seconds when there are no people.

My understanding was that you don’t need this test patch anymore, the black PIR sensor paired OK to HE when pairing was done very close to the hub?

Yes, the black sensor was paired at a very close distance.
I understand that no more patches are needed.

The latest update (timestamp 6:12 PM) supports the configuration of the 'Induction Time' ( I keep the original terms as in the Tuya app) and the target distance for the black round PIR sensor

It's great to apply so quickly.

I was staying at home in the last few days, my wife was visiting to her mother in another town.... ideal conditions for writing drivers! :grinning:

But now my wife is at home, from Monday I am back at work and the time I can spend on the hobby will be much more limited. :frowning:

It seems that the latency of recognizing existence in the absence of people has decreased by 1/2 than before.

I found a manual about the black sensor. It was all in Chinese characters and could not be interpreted.
The black sensor is 10.525 Ghz.
