[RELEASE] Tuya Zigbee Metering Plug (w/ healthStatus)

The development branch was updated to version 1.6.5. (the link is in the second post) with the fingerprint and the commands for decoding this DIN rail model.

As there were a lot of changes and this device is different than mine, I can't test it, so we will need to go back and forth in several iterations probably to make everything work,

I have two tuya plugs that do not seem to function properly. They can be paired and the driver can toggle the switches a couple of times right after pairing. Also some metering data is shown. After a few seconds the devices just stop toggling on/off and the presence is then reported not present.

I can see in the debug logs that this model is being warned of being problematic with hubitat. Does this apply for basic switching also or is it just for the energy reporting?

This is one of the well-known Zigbee devices that do not work with Hubitat. It changes the NWK address several times during the pairing to HE and finally can not be controlled in any way.

So I have one of the Tuya 20A smart plugs that don't connect to the hub.

Not sure if this will help, but I've been tinkering with it and can get a connection and turn it on/off. But it's only when I connect it to Hubitat first, then reset it but not deleting the device. When it's scanning for new zigbee devices, during that 60 seconds, I am able to turn it off and on and also pull usage data from it. But once the scan is done, it stops communicating to the hub.

I'm including the debug log and the Hub log so you can see when the zigbee scan starts and stops.

Let's hope Hubitat engineers will find a solution for these devices that don't stay connected to the HE Zigbee network.

There's a tuya zigbee plug on Aliexpress with power monitoring, but I can't find an actual model number.

It's impossible to say whether this device will work with Hubitat or not.
6 months earlier I would say there is 95% chance to work, now I will say 50:50

Version 1.7.0 was uploaded into the development branch, introducing the new healthStatus custom attribute.

The currently (mis)used Presence capability will be kept until we are all convinced that we are ready to make this transition without losing major functionalities.

Worked like a charm, driver updates without issue and is active on the metering plugs almost instantaneous

It is functional using "Generic Zigbee Multi-Endpoint Switch" built-in driver, in so far as that I can turn each switch on/off separately, but it does not report power usage.

It has inClusters 0702 and 0B04 which I believe is related to power usage statistics and I am see text related to these clusters in the debugging logs:

I tried changing the parent and child driver to " Tuya Zigbee Metering Plug" (previously installed and working for other devices) but this did not work for the Double GPO.

Unfortunately, this driver does not support parent/child devices.

I have a very similar dual power outlet from Ikuu.
Have you tried the driver HERE ?

Note: The power reporting is COMBINED from both Outlets. You do not get individual Outlet power reporting

It works somewhat ie it switches both endpoints and reports voltage. It might be enough for me to nut out the power part by trawling the debug logs and comparing to kkossev's driver

No, not yet. Send one to Hubitat guys and hopefully they can find a solution to the issue.

The latest developments branch version 1.7.2 was updated with experimental support for Third Reality power reporting plug Model Number: 3RSP02028BZ

If someone has these plugs and can test with this driver whether the automatic reporting works and whether the power-on settings ('last state') works, please comment here.
