Introducing 'Ring Alarm Keypad Companion'
Make the Ring Keypad Gen2 do more! For use with the Ring Alarm Gen 2 Keypad using the Ring Alarm Keypad G2 Community Driver.

Note: No longer maintained since I've moved all my Ring Keypads over to a Ring hub.

Features:

  • Makes it easy to utilize the new features in the community driver
  • Make ANY code - run a RM rule, turn on switches or turn off switches
  • Use the switches in ANY app.

When reporting problems...

  • Be sure you are on the latest version. I won't troubleshoot an older version.
  • Turn on debug and screenshot the issue happening in the log. One line or just the error doesn't cut it. I need a log.
  • Post the screenshot of the log with an explanation of the problem.

This is great! Just what I was looking for when I paired my keypad, I was surprised it only works in "security" mode out of the box.

However, I'm not sure how to install. I downloaded the Bundle Manager but am unable to find this app.

Hi,
I've passed the reins off to the Ring Community Driver so I no longer offer the Companion or the Sync apps. (since I have no way of testing them or making sure one doesn't break the other).
