I just released the new QR Code Generator module. You basically enter a URL and it generates a QR code that you can publish on your dashboard.
This idea was posted by @harmony7 on this thread [Feature Request] QR Code tile for Dashboards recently, so credit where it's due. But I liked the idea and thought it would fit well into the existing publishing structure of Remote Builder even though it's not a remote control as originally envisaged. So here it is.
I think there are a number of uses but the idea originator posted one I had not thought of which was to duplicate a dashboard from a wall hung tablet onto a handheld device. Something that might be beneficial for a guest.
The idea that came to me right away was to publish remotes. As the example above suggests if I scan the QR code it brings up the local endpoint for the TV remote.
The title can be customized and is optionally clickable so it could be launched without scanning the QR code if desired.
