Can someone confirm if it is possible to display a graphic made with Webcore in HD+?
With the https link provided in Webcore nothing is displayed in HD+ (works in Chrome with the same link). If I change the link to http the page starts to load but gets stuck at step 1 of 4 and never display the graph...
sorry, I wasn't sure how to test this one as I don't use webcore. I do have a few html tiles though and they're displaying fine so I'm not sure what it could be. The html tiles do support javascript but maybe there's something else. Anyway, if you can find some way to reproduce this I'll try
I can't think of how that could mess anything up. Did you initially login and didn't enable cloud support -- and then added it after? I don't know if I've tested that scenario.. let me know if there's anything else I can try to help reproduce
Yes. I logged in locally, set everything up... made a lot of folders and put devices in folders. After a few days I wanted to enable cloud access so I did that, and all my folders disappeared. Tried to restore, but could not make the folders reappear. So I did an entire reset and rebuilt everything.
I wanted to add a stock tracker to HD+ and struggling to find a good HTML widget.. does anyone have any suggestions? The biggest issue I've found with most of these are they're fixed size and don't fit to the entire tile (see screenshot below).
Generally speaking I would like to find a good collection of HTML widgets which work well with HD+. I'd like to make it easier to add these to HD+ as well.
side-note -- when I say HTML widget I'm talking about embedding HTML code into a tile. The best example I've seen is windy.com which will fill the tile.
I wanted to get the new Blink device support in but I also added a new (and very basic) stock tile. It takes a stock symbol and will display the current price, the daily change and the last time it was updated. Just keep in mind that it's something that's still a work in progress so it could change in the future.
@jpage4500 I'm not sure if you mentioned the URL for the shown weather forecast in one of your postings, but I couldn't find anything. Can you please provide the source of the data?
I have installed the app on an old Nexus 7 and I'm running into issue when I push a light switch on the app on my tablet whereby the Switch icon will turn the light off, however it does not update to icon to being off. This, is also causing my main Dashboard in Hubitat (on my PC) to show an hourglass on the associated switch that will remain indefinitely until such time that I press the light switch button in the Hubitat dashboard on my computer.
Any ideas on what is causing this and a fix?
Lastly, I have created a "Image" button with the URL to a security camera I have on my network. On the main Hubitat Dashboard on my PC, I have no issues seeing the Image, however HD+ shows a warning stating "Image failed to load!".
Hi,
I am new to Hubitat, and have installed the Maker app, and generated the authorization token, and selected the devices I want available.
I have downloaded the latest APK for the android dashboard (1.0.2251) and sideloaded it onto my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra running Android 13 with all updates applied, and started the app, and got to the login screen, but when I put in the username and password for the Hubitat, it just blinks the screen, and empties the password field -- it doesn't log in. I've tried the "discovery" login, the advanced login, and nothing works.
Any ideas of what to do to fix this?
Yes, my phone is on the same local network as my hubitat.
What do you (open to anyone) think of something like this? Basically instead of a Back button you'd see a title bar -- clicking anywhere will take you back to the main dashboard. I think it could still look better -- not sure what to use for the default background color (transparent?).. also not sure about the height/font/icons.. just throwing it out as an idea.
I'd probably make it an option (disabled by default) so it wouldn't change the layout for anyone today
EDIT: I could also add some quick actions to the right side of that title bar.. such as a button to turn every device 'on' or 'off' which would show up for folders that have actionable devices like lights
I'm assuming you have enabled the username/password option in Hubitat - is that correct? I did try to add support for that but it's not something I have enabled so it's probably not as well tested. By default that is off - or at least it always has been to my knowledge. However, I'll make a note to enable it and test out logging in to make sure it still works.
In the meantime, can you disable it and try to use the auto login option? Once logged-in you should be able to re-enable it.
I think this is a much better UI option and has the added benefit of allowing more devices being visible without having to scroll.
Somewhat related to height/font/icons etc.; any chance you'd consider making the UI colors and fonts configurable for dialogs. I use the dark gray theme and love the way the dashboard looks but I think the dialog styling would benefit from being able to set title bar and dialog style as well.
This looks great. Some users may like the big back button, though. Perhaps leave that as an option. I think the solid background looks nice... but ideally you could have a couple config options for the title bar. Thanks for adding it!
Today I tried to start a Hubitat rule or webCoRE piston by using HD+ Tile. Seems to work fine so far. What I noticed is that the URL seems to get triggered every time when the HD+ tablet gets active and the screensaver ends.
I would like to have a button or switch where I can execute an URL to fire a piston or run a rule without any additional window on the HD+ tablet and only if I press the HD+ Tile.
