I am requesting a recommendation for a “shock”or glass break sensor to let me know if a window has been broken. Sensor should be Zigbee.
(Please note: the aqara vibration sensor does not have the “shock” attribute.)
Any suggestions?
Ring has Glass Break sensors, but they are Z-wave, so won’t meet your criteria. Those are the only ones I know…
Just got 5 of these from AliExpress, so far so good. Occasionally they go haywire(both w/ HE & SmartLife) but mine regained its sanity. When they go haywire they report repeated activation every 3 seconds. Using @kkossev Tuya Vibration Sensor Driver.
These are like 5 bucks each, use AAA batteries(not incl.). If you order 5 or > they are 4.88USD each

Do your devices have a “shock” attribute?
Yes, I use them in HSM for glass break/sliding door prying open detection. Krassimir did his magic and they report shock & vibration. In SmartLife it has both drop & vibration detection
