I have a hand full of Aeon Multisensor 6 motion sensors. They work well but eat 2 CR123 batterys every 4 to 6 months. I have the custom DH to reduce the reporting intervals but still not liking the battery life. And I dont need the other stuff, illuminance, tamper, etc..
I have an EcoLink PIRZWAVE2-ECO motion only and the battery has lasted 3+ years which is great. But this device it large and motion only, no temperature.
Is there a 3yr+ battery life motion sensor that reports temperature that isnt large in size? I dont care if Z-Wave or Zigbee
I haven't replaced any batteries in my Hue motion sensors and some are 2 - 2.5 years old

I 2nd the Hue. In a high traffic area-front door, I get a year, on 2 cheap AAA batteries, about 80 cents per change of the pair

Hue need a hub? I dont want an extra hub to manage.
No Hue hub required, you can join them to the HE hub. The only thing I don't like about them is their size...they are kinda bulky.

They're not situated where you can power them? Mine are all plugged in.
