Recently updated Hubitat, and can no longer access by web or application

I have recently performed an update. Everything was working fine. After I completed the update, I no longer have access to the web interface. It is still on the same IP address. All of the devices seem to be working. Just no iOS application, interface or web interface. Please help. I am not sure what to do.

Hello:
The problem is solved. Apparently, after it updated it switched to DHCP and moved itself to a new IP address. I have since switched it back to the correct address and all is working fine.

Your best bet is to leave it on DHCP and reserve the IP for your hub (and any other iot device you have) in your router's DHCP server.

Are you implying that static IP address setting in IOT is unstable? As well as the Hubitat device?

I think it's just a general statement about making it easier to manage IP address spaces. @rlithgow1 and I both come from the enterprise network world and that's generally how it's done on large networks.

Some folks have reported issues with HE set to static but I think most of those end up being DNS configuration settings.

Yeah, either they forget to set it or it looks like they already are pre populated.

No, just saying from a management standpoint it's easier.

Yes, I reserve IP addresses at work. I just did not think to do it at home. This would make sure permanently that this issue never occurs again. Thanks for all of your guises quick responses.
