Received cloud request for App xxx that does not exist, path: /device/xxx from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Just noticed these external requests on my dev hub, anyone ever see this???

I checked on all 3 hubs just in case, none have an app ID of 394, nor do I have a device with IDs mentioned in the errors. These are the only warnings I've seen like this and all within about 3 minutes from each other?

Maybe you had a Maker API built on your hub, then deleted it.. the thing you built it for still thinks it needs to be updating your hub.

You only get these messages when App 394 doesn't exist anymore. At some point in time you told that non-Hubitat tool to contact your hub, by pasting in some text or values. One of those values was "394" along with an Access Key. You need to go to that external site and turn it off.

Since it's a Dev hub, maybe do a restore of an older backup and see if App 394 exists back then.

Do reverse lookup on those IP addresses. That should give you a clue.

It's what I was thinking but never installed MakerAPI on the Dev hub in my recollection. I'll maybe see if I have a old backup still available but since it's dev, I never backup anywhere else than what's on the hubs memory.

Thanks!

hmmm just did and they are all "compute-1.amazonaws.com", I think I might have had Amazon
Alexa installed once but like at least a year ago, but then again many companies use AWS so that might not even be it.

It might, but in this case it just goes back to Amazon, and that probably means AWS. Everyone, everything uses AWS or Azure, so it doesn't identify the tool, usually. Could be Alexa, could be SmartThings that sends updates through Hubitat's AWS. Since this is basically a human memory thing.. "what did I install where I had to paste some stuff.. then delete?" we're not going to be much help, I'm afraid.

Have to rack your brain for those non local apps like HubiVue or Sharptools etc that you might have tried out.

It's always a pain when this happens...
I would suggest to restore some of your previous backups and use the link below to identify the app:
http://yourHubIp/installedapp/status/394

Thanks for all the help guys, since this is a dev hub and this only came around ounce for a total of 3 minutes. I won't investigate it more than that, to bad the hub does not retain at least name of app/devices that were deleted for future reference :frowning:
