I moved to a home with several Kwikset 910 deadbolts and the previous owner used Vivint. When I tried to pair these locks with Ring Security Z-Wave hub, got errors. I reached out to Ring and they said the logs show that anti-theft feature is enabled and need to ask Kwikset. Then I reached out to Kwikset and they said that it's something that Vivint does on top of their firmware and cannot be removed with factory reset. I reached out to Vivint and they said that I do need to use a Vivint panel to remove it and sign up as a new customer as the previous owners took the panel with them. I found this article and thought to give the last shot before replacing all the locks.
I found a used Vivint Panel on the Facebook marketplace for $40.
Did a factory reset by pressing the button behind the panel for 60 seconds (codes become 1111 and 2203)
Paired the locks and followed all the steps that @DocNaes mentioned and was able to get them all working with Ring Security.
