That pretty cool, afraid of how expensive it will be though. If I used the front door constantly I would for sure consider it. Right now it's just the kids coming home from school going in the front and otherwise we use the garage door.

If it's anything like their Homekit nonsense, the "automation" will require that you physically touch a button saying, "do you want to run this automation?", therefore making the term "automation" mean nothing.

Hoping for better, but the only way this would make sense is if it supports ONVIF to allow integration into my BlueIris setup.

If I’m waiting at the front door for it to unlock, something has already gone wrong. I surely wouldn’t pay extra to have it as a “feature”.
