In troubleshooting some issues, I deregistered my hub on my account, so it obviously now says "no hubs registered". When I soft reset my hub and it got to the register hub phase it says "this hub is already registered". I have no way to RE-register the hub.
@support any assistance you can provide to just reset my hub/account? I’m happy to just start over and reprogram everything, but I just need that option. Thanks
It's extremely rare that a "start over" is needed. As a result of that rarity, it's probably never going to be the first thing this Community offers as advice. "This Community" is just a few thousand people that also own a Hubitat Hub and have acquired some experience and are willing to parrot it back to new owners.
Registering the hub enables your cloud account.. which would allow you to access a Dashboard for your local Starbucks, for example. If you're just starting out with Hubitat, it's probably pretty easy to defer that experience for a business day or two.
My guess is that you have a valid account ("this hub is already registered") yet the hub cannot reach the internet to phone home ("no hubs registered") and make the connection to the cloud account.
This was it! I had set a static IP set and static DNS. All valid but based on your input I switched it back to dhcp and all is working now. I was able to re-register the hub. Thanks so much for your assistance.
