Random Push Notification

Hi, Has anyone any advice as to what might be causing my HT to randomly send me push notification saying simply “Hi”

I have 2 rules set in RM that send notifications both of which work as expected. Neither rule send a “Hi” notification and so am somewhat baffled.

Is this a bug? Have I been hacked?

Any help would be greatly received as these come through half a dozen times per day which is somewhat irritating.

Nothing in the normal configuration of HE will do that on its own, so I'm guessing that someone is playing with you....

Besides these, check the "In use by" section for the device page (your mobile app device, usually named something similar to your phone), which you can get to from the "Devices" page in the Hubitat admin UI. There could be another app (including a rule) beyond the ones you know about, and this would say for sure.

But otherwise, my guess is similar to the above: if your admin UI isn't restricted, someone could just be going in, typing "Hi" into the "Device Notify" command box, and sending it from there. :slight_smile:
