I'd like to be able to get a "quick" status view of all my devices when in the Devices and Rooms views (i.e., without having to use/configure Dashboards, etc.).
What I'm thinking is a simple icon column next to the current "Label" that would show, for example, a "On" or "Off" bulb (for switch/dimmer devices), and other simple indicator depending on the device. I used to use HomeSeer and they have these icons on their layout (example below) and it gives a nice quick view of statuses: E.g., here's the example from HomeSeer for a simple ON/Off switch device
I realize this might not be available for all device types (multi-function devices might be an issue, or require more than one icon), but at least basic dimmers / switches / fans / contact, motion, leak sensors and the like might be able to support this (and maybe some sort of "N/A" icon if the device doesn't' support a quick view).
