Question regarding Treatlife Devices

I was given 2 Treatlife devices for free. The TREATLIFE Scene Controller with Zigbee Hub Kit & the 3 Way Smart Dimmer Switch 2 Pack, TREATLFE 2 Master 3 Way Dimmable Light Switches. I accepted them without doing much but a cursory glance at the what was out there on these devices. I do have a use for them but it may turn out to be more trouble than it is worth or it may not work at all.

The first thing I ran into was the Tasmota question? The information on Amazon says that the TREATLIFE Scene Controller with Zigbee Hub Kit is a Zigbee Hub, I could not find anything on "Tasmotatizing" it but I kinda wish I could use it to somehow boost my Zigbee signal. The 3 Way Smart Dimmer Switch 2 Pack, TREATLFE 2 Master 3 Way Dimmable Light Switches do seem like they are "Tasmotatizable" but the information on on Amazon says it is usable with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings which makes me think that it might work with Hubitat.

I don't want this to turn into a fools errand and I know my capabilities, I am not afraid to flash a device as long as i have instructions and it does not require cracking something open and using a soldering iron. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have to say, both of these products are pretty nice looking and i wouldn't mind using them in my home but I could easily find a home for them if they cannot coexist with my Hubitat universe.

The Zigbee device MAY be able to pair directly to the hub, if it using a standard Zigbee protocal. Check the box/instructions to see if it says Zigbee 3.0 anywhere on it. Otherwise if it will ONLY work with the hub it may be difficult to bring into Hubitat.

The Wifi devices, could possibly be flashed with Tasmota if they do not have an updated chip that no longer can be flashed.

From my prior research on Tasmota, it probably does require both opening it, and soldiering things.

Otherwise you can possibly use the Hub and the Wifi devices as-is on Wifi, paired with the generic Tuya or Smart Life apps (do not use the treatlife app), and then brought into Hubitat using the user created Tuya Cloud integration. May work for the hub connected device and/or the Wifi device.

I have a LampUX LED strip that is Tuya based and I connected it via the Smart Life app and using the Tuya Cloud integration. I mainly just wanted to be able to turn it on and off, which it works for that.
