I am new to Hubitat. I purchased a ring alarm kit with the intention of switching over from XFINITY alarm. From reading here, It doesn’t look like there is any official integration for it with Hubitat but there are some potential workarounds. After learning that Hubitat has it’s own safety monitor built in I am now wondering if I made the wrong choice going with Ring? I am also wondering how one z-wave network will effect the other? I’m assuming that it will have to be 2 separate networks each with their own z wave mesh. It seems unfortunate that they can’t be tied together to make one more robust Z-Wave mesh. Does anybody here have Ring and Hubitat co-existing and happy with the results? Should I take it back and just use Hubitat for security? Keep Xfinity? I’m not too thrilled with XFINITY as a whole. Just looking for peoples thoughts and advice.
