If I pause a rule that has already started, will it stop all future actions, or only pause for the next trigger?
Basically I have a rule that turns on the lights around sunset, turns them off around 11:30 (set to random so it isn't the exact same time every day). I have a virtual switch that turns on 5 minutes before the outdoor lights turn off. If someone arrives home with that virtual switch on, it pauses the rule so the light doesn't turn off on them as they walk up to the house, and then resumes the rule half an hour later. I just want to make sure that this will work as intended.
Here are my 2 rules. (Outdoor light scheduled off is the virtual switch)
(since these screenshots have been taken, I have made a few edits to I think fix them, but my original question does still stand)
It will do both: it will not respond to triggers, and rule actions will pause at the current action until resumed. (If you aren't sure and want to see for yourself, turn on all logging, then check "Logs" to see what is -- or isn't -- happening.)
