Qubino Smart Plug 16A / EU won't report anything

C7@ 2.2.4.158.
Just got my defective device replaced, after including (S2_AUTH or S2_UNAUTH, tried almost everything) the new one, I found that it won't report any changes at all, no energy, power, amperage, not even the switch status.

Only while hitting refresh the meter values are updated.
It used to work with the original plug using the Zooz Power Switch driver before.
Now it won't, regardless what driver I use.

When including the plug to my stand-alone Z-Way Server using S2 securitry, everything works fine, so the device itself seems to be ok.

So I suspect it could be the current version of the hub that causes this issue?!
Don't recall exactly, but I assume that my original plug had been included with the former version of HE

Also checked the command classes, which seem to be ok:

Tagging the Z-Wave guru @bcopeland for assistance.

Now that my C7 is at 2.2.5.120, I decided to give it another shot.

So I excluded my Smart Plug, did a factory reset and included it again with S2_AUTHENTCATED security with the same results as described above.
Also S2_UNAUTHENTICATED didn' change this behaviour, only when including it with no security at all it works as it used to do with some earlier version of the hub.

Tagging @bcopeland, may I ask you to tell why the hub suddenly don't like this device anymore?

I'll check it out .. Possibly a bug related to supervision handling in the driver... What driver is this using?

Wow, that was fast! Thanks in advance.
I tried the following drivers, both with the same results:

  • Zooz Power Switch
  • Aeotec Smart Switch 6
Both used to work awhile ago, can't recall after which version the trouble started.
Using the Neo Coolcam Power Plug driver with S2 the SmartPlug isn't controllable at all.

When including with no security each of these drivers work.

At least I'm not alone with it.

Hi dev team, is you going to add drivers or not?

Any updates here? Have a plug which works for a few hours and then remains stuck on "on". Tried several drivers for various switches, same behaviour.

I can tell that they work fine for me when paired without any security, using the "Any Z-Wave Switch Driver".
So, if you paired using S2, I recommend to re-include without security.

Hi. I wanted to try that, but never got the security prompt when including. Tried resetting the device and re-including, but still no prompt.
