I'm having a heck of a time getting my Qubino 1 relay module to include in my zwave network. I can tell that it is drawing about 15mA and it is also sending out a single short pulse when I put it into inclusion mode (Using RTL SDR). I can also see that the Hubitat is sending short pulses every two seconds while its trying to scan.
I tried using 120V AC as well as 24V DC both to no avail (I made sure not to push the S button when on 120V)
Anyone have any advice I'm missing here?
I have everything else in the Qubino line but that one
However, my recent two experiences taught me that their 3 cycles of I1 is B/S.
The only thing that worked for me was unscrewing the Live Line wire pausing, then putting it back in while Hubitat was in discovery. Instant Join. Even before I could tighten the screw.
Therefore, since I do not recommend others do as I do.. you should try flipping the breaker off, pause, then On.
Turn off the circuit, wait about 30 seconds, put hub into inclusion mode, and then turn the circuit back on.
I hate to be the guy that doesn't respond after getting advice. I have tried all sorts of different ways of getting this darn thing to work and am giving up, I'm assuming it's defective. Thanks for the suggestions guys/gals.
Have you factory reset it, then exclude, then reset, then include?
I tried resetting it a few times using 120V, and totally gave up. Today I thought I'd give it a try with 24 volts, and tried to include it, and it immediately worked! Thank you! I guess persistence works now and then.
I should note that I had not been able to exclude it after factory resetting it because it had never been added to the hub in the first place. I have it now hooked up and working very nicely, I also made sure to hide my old mercury thermostat (in parallel) near the furnace and set to 5C to make sure that it will be a backup to prevent freezing.
