Q on Govee H617C

Quoted post links to the Govee page for H617C. (Only $19.99 at the moment, BTW!) I have one of these installed and I have the Govee Integration app installed but this device doesn't show up. The device has no Wi-Fi connectivity and I've been trying to figure out if and how I can expose these to Hubitat. It's Bluetooth only right?

The quoted post seems to suggest that Hubitat control is possible for the H617C. I had given up and resigned myself to replacing it for something with Wi-Fi. Can I use the ones I have? What am I missing?

Bluetooth won't connect to hubitat as hubitat doesn't have a bluetooth radio. You would need a wifi version of it or go with zigbee or z-wave

Right...so why did mavrrick58 recommend this model in the linked thread requesting recommendations for LED strips that integrate to Hubitat? Either Mavrrick58 goofed or I'm missing something here, and given our respective experience levels, I'm assuming it's me.

I goofed. The strip controller supporting Wifi is a requirement. Sorry about that.

I fixed that post with the kit that has the same strip, but also has wifi
