I’ve shared a small Hubitat app and driver that lets your automations send notifications to your phone using the Pushover service.
PushOn Simple is for people who want alerts to be clear and predictable, without lots of per-rule options or custom actions. Instead, it creates a small set of clearly named notification devices (Low, Normal, High, and Emergency), each with a fixed behaviour.
You pick the type of alert by choosing the device, which keeps rules easy to read and makes it harder to misuse emergency notifications. The Emergency device sends repeating alerts until they’re acknowledged in the Pushover app, so it works well for things you really don’t want to miss.
It’s simple and predictable - it just works.
It’s shared publicly as-is, without support or ongoing maintenance.
Hopefully it’s useful to others, as it was built to solve a real problem for me.
