- App Version: Latest from Play Store
- Cloud Backup: Working (confirmed)
- Mobile App Device: Created and linked (confirmed)
- Notification Command: Executes from hub (confirmed)
- App Permissions: All enabled (notifications, location, battery unrestricted)
- DNS/VPN: No filtering or blocking
- Other apps: Push notifications working (e.g., Tesla, Google)
- Hubitat app: Does not receive push notifications or geofence events
- Reinstall, rebind, and reboot attempted multiple times
Suspected Issue:
Hubitat app is failing to register or maintain its Firebase push token with your cloud relay. Requesting backend verification or token reset.
Please assist?
I also just checked the following...
- App appears under App Info, but does not appear in Notification Permission Manager
- No push notifications received
- Other apps (Tesla, Google) work fine
- Full uninstall, reboot, reinstall, and rebind attempted
- Suspected cause: App does not declare POST_NOTIFICATIONS in manifest for Android 13+
Request:
Please confirm whether the app declares POST_NOTIFICATIONS correctly for Android 13+ and whether Firebase token registration is succeeding on your backend.
