Pronunciation?

So, I encountered a fellow Hubitat enthusiast today and was surprised by his pronunciation of the word "Hubitat". So which is it? Hub - itat or Hue - bitat?

I use Hub - itat because I understand it to be a derivation of "Habitat" but with "Hab" slightly altered to form the description of what this device essentially is.

Hub-itat is my vote. All contrary answers are wrong. :slight_smile:

HABitat ----> HUBitat

I've always pronounced it Hub - itat. I'm no grammar expert, but surely that has to be "right" pronunciation from a technical, grammatical view.

It is definitely Hub-i-tat. You don't have to take my word for it, when you can here it pronounced from the Hubitat Team themselves!

I guess that about wraps it up then. I'll point my friend over to the Hubitat live link.

I'm in the HUB itat club. But then I am part of the Z'ed wave club, as opposed to the more American Z'ee wave club. :smiley:

So take from that what you will hahaha.
