I've just received my C-7 hub and started transitioning over from Smartthings/Webcore. So far, it's mostly going okay. Here's a screenshot of my dashboard in progress.
Notice that the V20 (android v8) presence shows as away. Herein is the problem, it's not away. The V20 is logged in as a guest and I created a device for it. The problem is, the geofence is just not there. When I open the geofence tab in the mobile app on the V20, I get a world overview, it doesn't zoom in because there's no geofence.
Thanks for the response. I had already done both the lat/lon and time zone check. Took me a few minutes to figure out you have to delete the zip code before it takes a lat/lon. It's sitting right on top of my house in the map, Here's the geofence tab on my Samsung S21+ (android 13).
Just an update on this issue. I was also having issues with notifications on my Samsung S21+. The notification tab just showing the spinner indefinitely. My wife's LG V20, however, received notifications just fine. Reading here, it was suggested to try a few things which could also affect the geofence not showing in the app on the V20 issue.
Deleted all mobile app devices.
Deleted app data.
Uninstalled the app.
Reinstalled the app.
Login and create a new device.
This worked at getting notifications working on the S21+ but the V20 now had the forever spinner. So:
I logged out the V20 phone and closed the app.
Deleted the newly created device.
Login and create a new device.
This time both phones received notifications.
Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue of no geofence showing in the app on the V20. If there any more suggestions to try or additional screenshots or information needed let me know.
