I recently got one of these buttons. It paired just fine with Hubitat, and I tested it with an automation and everything worked as expected.
However, after some time (at least 24 hours), the button becomes unresponsive. There are no events triggered on the Hubitat device page when I push the button.
I've learned that if I reboot my C-8 Pro hub, the button is immediately responsive again.
I have another one of these buttons, and it works flawlessly.
I'm using the Sonoff Zigbee Button Controller driver.
I just had the same thing happen with one of these buttons. Without removing it, re-add it to your hub. Your hub should say "adding a previously joined device" with it's name. It'll retain it's ID and continue to work for any automations you have set up. I just let the page time out after it's added, and it's been fine ever since.

My experience is that happens to devices that are not in a strong mesh. I see it happen a few times a summer on my outdoor Zigbee irrigation valves, which are on the edge of my Zigbee range and not solidly in the mesh inside the house.
Adding some mains powered repeaters can help if this if inside, like adding Zigbee outlet plugs between the hub and the device.
