Problem updating C8-Pro

I'm trying to update my new C8-Pro from 2.3.7.145 to 2.3.7.146 and it's failing. I start the download and it is painfully slow, like 1% every 15 seconds or more, and eventually it fails. I've tried rebooting, power cycle, new network cable, new network port, different power supply and usb cable, different network switch and even different room of the house. Results are the same every time.

Anyone else seeing this?

My 2 other C8's and test C7 updated without issue.

I'm just category of won't hurt but might help, do the network reset. There's a I think it's a square hole in the bottom of the hub put a pin in there and hold that button down for 7 to 10 seconds the hub should reboot after that if you've done it right.

That will reset all your network settings to default and might help.

It's the only round hole, all the others are square. But no, that didn't work. Still slow download that dies.

When pressing the network reset are you doing it for at least 7 seconds?

Also go into network settings. Does change the network speed to 100 fixed or 100 auto help with anything?

yup, 12 seconds. 100 fixed. I didn't change network settings to start with so they were already default.

Write it down...I keep forgetting that tweak myself.

I think that the tweak/bug can go both ways too. Sometimes you have to change it to 100 rather than Auto negotiated.

Seems a strange bug, but it has been around since at least the C-7, maybe C-5.

Since C-5 days for sure. But is not really a bug, is the network switch that isn't able to properly negotiate the link speed. Many routers/switches don't have this issue, just the "special" ones.
