I have run Exclusion and Inclusion several times but cannot get the S2 built in Security to load.
What happens when you exclude the device? And when you try to include it?
You should check your Z-Wave logs to ensure that there is no incomplete pairing noted (commonly called ghost devices) as these will cause major issues with your mesh sooner or later.
Are you able to pair them without security? Is there a reason why you want to use S2 security?

I exclude and try to include. During include a small screen appears saying that the device is equipped wih S2 safety with "skip" and "confirm" buttons. I click on confirm. The configuration completes installing the Garage Door Controller.
I get the same device details results as another user got for the identical problem and followed the instruction but with no success.

Thanks, and can you confirm that when you go to the Z-Wave Details screen (from the Settings screen), you see “none” and not “S2” in the security column?

Correct; I see none and not S2.
Ok. Have you checked your Z-Wave details screen to see if you have any incomplete pairings, or ghosts? This can be seen when there is a discover button, and sometimes when a device has no routes. Not sure it would make a difference in this situation though… @bcopeland might know…
Thank you ever so much for your time spent on this problem. It looks like there is a problem getting the built-in S2 Security configured without which no device will work. These are brand new GoControl Garage Door Controller and Hubitat Hub.
In a process of elimination I am firstly returning the GoControl Garage Door Controller and get a new one then try to add it into the Hubitat Hub. If this does not work I will return the Hubitat Hub and get a new Hub then try to add the Garage Door Controller.

I have a new GoControl GDOOZ-8-GC and is having the same problem with pairing the security as I was having 25 days ago. Without the security pairing the device is not properly being installed.
Hopefully @bcopeland can take a look a this.
If he doesn't reply, I would email support at support@hubitat.com and they hopefully will be able to help.

@user108 , do you have any updates? I am also unable to get the Go Control paired with Hubitat.
