There are apps like the Combined Presence app that probably will help in this case. It takes multiple presence devices, and they have to (depending upon the parameters you enter) agree as a set that you are present or absent.
Those Smartthings sensors work OK, but they have a lot of false alerts. By combining my phone with these, presence is almost perfect.
