Pre-Release Call: PIMA Force Alarm Panel Integration for Hubitat

I’m looking for a few experienced Hubitat users interested in early testing of a new PIMA Force Alarm Panel integration.

This integration provides:

• Local TCP link to the PIMA panel (via Node-RED bridge)
• Real-time events: zones, partitions, alarms, troubles, faults
• Full operations: arm/disarm/bypass/PGMs
• DATA-REQ readers for structured panel data
• Automatic creation of child devices (partitions, zones, sirens, outputs)
• Two-way sync between Hubitat ↔ Node-RED

Important:
The pre-release requires updating your PIMA panel to the newest firmware version that enables the TCP interface.
This must be done manually by contacting PIMA Support and requesting the firmware update.
Only testers with access to this firmware can participate.

Requirements for testers:

• Comfortable installing custom drivers and an app
• Able to run Node-RED
• Willing to check logs and report issues
• Preferably familiar with PIMA systems

If you’d like to participate, reply here or send me a DM with:
• Your Hubitat model
• Your PIMA panel model + firmware version
• Whether you already use Node-RED

Nice add for a Hubitat integration, but my first thoughts are you are in a very small subset of users that actually have this panel. Then a much smaller subset that have that panel and read these forums and want to test it. You never know though.

You are right to think that. But as I wrote this for my own use anyway, I do not mind sharing and just maybe someone would be interested :grinning:

Totally. Sharing here is always good since someday someone will be looking for that driver and hopefully find it here. I was just speaking of the chances to get testers from the small pool of active community users.

I wish there was a better way to find drivers like this here that don't get uploaded to HPM. I've played with AI doing the community post searches, it is much better than trying to use the search bar on the community pages.
