Even with UPS devices on all hubs and graceful shutdowns, if the hub downtime is more than an hour, Sengled contact sensors don’t work until I “awaken” them via a quick-tap of the reset button (through the hole).
Same with my Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Toggle Light Switch 3-Way 46202. Not sure if it is a hub thing or a device thing.
When my hub starts up either by a reboot or power cycle, I have a startup routine triggered by Location event: systemStart that first turns everything off, and then sets everything up (including setting the mode which I do manually) by a series of time of day conditionals.
I have considered using webcore to do this. Just have not taken the time to do it. Blackout/brownout is not that frequent here, so I do not have an IMMEDIATE need to do this, EXCEPT when I hear “Honey, the lights are not working.”
