I have a series of standard outside pirs that bring on outside lights and have done so for years.
I would like to bring other lights into the mix, without having to wire the lights directly into PIRS. It will mean armoured cable etc.
So I looked at replacing the working PIRs with new Zigbee ones. The current ones are in line, and I cannot seem to see a direct replacement at a reasonable price. (The Hue is £45 and I need to replace 5 and that above the budget currently for this job, and its battery powered)
do I thought if I had a way of telling that the light is on, I could fire a switch to turn others on.
All the tools that measure the power seem to be outlets, and these lights are already wired in.
Ideally something with a clamp, that sends a message when there is a current would be perfect. Is there such a device? Or am I missing another easy solution?
Ideas appreciated
