Why are the only devices showing in the “Energy Tracker” devices that literally cannot give me energy information? I have 3 switchbot hubs (two v2’s and a v3). Their Temperature and Humidity “options” are ALL that is showing in the “Power Energy Tracker” app.
I was looking to track the power of my 2 window A/C units, a washing machine, and an air fryer plugged into INNR 244’s. They give energy usage right on their details page. What is Energy Tracker for if not to deal with those type of things?
If not, what do I use? A device powered by USB-C is definitely a laugh when it appears in Energy Tracker.
The answer is that whatever that driver is exposes the Energy Meter Capability (and ones you don’t see don’t), but information like this will shed more light on the underlying issue and cause if you want to look into that.

Note also that, as the app name suggests, it can track energy usage, as in power times time. The device needs to support that capability, not power per se (although I’d imagine any that supports energy should also do power, but there are many that do power only; I’m not familiar with your specific device, but it might be one).
