Hello, really tried to find solution to this but couldn't.
I have 12 Sinope TH1124ZB (4KW) Thermostat in my ski condo controlled through hubitat. I use schedules and this part works well. Also have sensors that detect when there is nobody and overwrite the schedule to lower the temp. All good.
I am trying to have a dashboard where I could show all my sinope thermostats WITH the possibility to control temp from the dashboard. If I add a thermostat tile, I get the temp + status (is heating) + fan and mode that I was able to remove through CSS. However I can't figure out a way to have a temp control on the tile itself.
In an ideal world I'd like to be able to control the temp of 1 unit straight from the dashboard until the next scheduled event kicks in.
Question: Is it possible to do this straight from a tile? Is the solution only to add virtual button (x2) to each thermostat tile and program them to increase the temp?
and the Up and Down arrows control the temperature setting. (The offset is an overlay showing the difference from a remote sensor, but otherwise a standard tile.)
Thanks, this is exactly what i am trying to achieve. Can’t figure out why my up and down arrow are not there since i am also using a standard thermostat tile with my sinope devices. Seems pretty standard so i would think the sinope driver supports that.
What do I know, but maybe it has to do when you removed mode somehow.
I just created a virtual thermostat and did not have the arrows when mode was set to "off".
When I set the mode to "heat" I got the arrows.
Thanks for the suggestion - i did add a new virtual thermostat on a new dashboard and I see the arrows when i switch mode to heat. I am unable to switch the mode to my baseboard sinope thermostat (i guess it is always heat) so the arrows don’t show up. I’ll dig deeper.
I switched the driver on the virtual thermostat to your Sinope model, and I got this:
So, it looks like it took-supported modes are off, or heat.
This is the screen when I substitute the Sinope driver:
If I hit "heat mode" on the tile I get:
It's still a virtual device, so there's that.
Maybe start over and remove and reinstall the device?
I wonder if somehow you have an old device driver that's not playing well with the hub.
I'm not a genius with this. Good luck!
Thanks for the info. When I add the sinope driver to my virtual thermostat I have more modes than you, regardless which one of the 3 available drivers I use. So I might have a wrong driver.
And when loading the sinope drivers, both my real thermostat and virtual ones only show these available current states, where mode is not listed. Setting the thermostat mode in the dropdown above changes nothing.
I’ll keep looking. Thanks for taking the time to share your info.
Ok so I am not at my ski condo so I can't check what is the difference in the devices but for whatever reason I am now able to have the temp control on one of my thermostat tile (all of them are thermostat standard tile). They are all sinope, all exactly the same physical model except one for the heater floor.
After adding one of the thermostat tile the one called "Chambre filles" showed the arrows. I've tried a lot of different drivers over the weekend so one of them might be working better for my device.
Ok in the end the mode would never work on the thermostat tile on the dashboard. However if I go in the device list and click on Heat, it will change the heat mode to heat and then I can use the arrows. So that seems to work fine now - I will just add css to hide the fan + mode on the tile since it is useless in my case.
