Possible issue with Webcore and GE 45856 (?)

Hi there,

I am trying to find out why my GE 45856 switch turns off immediately after being turned on (occurs sporadically). I have received help from this community about Zigbee interference with wifi and placement of my hub. Have acted on recommendations but the issue persists, especially in high-traffic areas where a motion sensor triggers the switch frequently. I have been using Webcore for all my automations, but I am considering that the problem may be with it. I am a massive fan of Webcore . Absolutely love it. However, I replaced the Webcore piston with a Rule Machine automation for the specific switches in question and have not had any issues for almost a week. Has anyone noticed any performance issues with Webcore compared to Rule Machine ?

You can go into the switch details and see what is causing it to turn on.

Do you have Alexa or Google installed into Hubitat? If so, this might be your issue. I think Alexa calls it "hunches"...don't know what Google calls it. Try turning this off in the Alexa or Google app.

Hi thanks for the response.

The Logs indicate that its being turned on by Webcore (which it should be).. Its the turning off that not logged in the logs.... so the turning On is the proper action but than 1/2 second later it goes Off.. I wrote a piston that verified if a switch is On after It gets turned On programatically through Webcore. If it was NOT On , then I would Turn it On Again and verify.. I did this in a large Do While loop.. surprisingly, the lights flashed up to 20 times before it stayed on ... meaning that it took up to 20 tries to keep that switch on.. BTW Im not using Alexa or Google Home.

I remain baffled...

Do be sure you are on latest webCoRE. (HPM repair if you did a user install)

After that, show us logs. I have not seen this in general.
