Possible Dashboard Bug

Running 2.2.5.131

I have two Zigbee Sengled Element Color Plus A19 RGBW bulbs (Amazon Link). This is grouped with a few individual Philips Hue Lights (through a Hue bridge) using the Group app.

I have selected the "Color Bulb" tile for the Hubitat Dashboard, and added it to a dashboard.

When I am in the "choose color" part of this tile, any color change only affects the color of the Hue bulbs. The Sengled Zigbee bulbs will not change color with the Hue bulbs. If I select each individual Sengled "Color Bulb" on the dashboard, I can change its color just fine.

Is this a bug, or is it just that you cannot use the "Group" app to group bridge connected Hue bulbs with Zigbee connected Hue bulbs?

Thanks!

Either way should work. Do you have Zigbee group messaging enabled? That might help. Otherwise, does it work if you issue the command again a second or two later? Sometimes there are problems with issuing certain commands to bulbs too fast. These issues are being addressed, but resending the commands or spacing them out are a couple workarounds that may work in the meantime (if this is the problem).

Do you have Zigbee group messaging enabled?

Yes - I did that when I created the group.

Otherwise, does it work if you issue the command again a second or two later?

No - when I try to change the color as the group, only the Hue bulbs (connected through the Hue hub) change color.

Not sure if this was clear from my description before, but I meant re-issuing the command--just trying "Set Color" on the group twice in a row (with a second or two in between).

Also, I'd leave Dashboard out of this for a second to rule out a problem that only exists there. Try this from the groups device page in "Devices" first.

OK - I got you.

I went into the "group" device. All commands (on, off, set color, set color temperature, set hue, set level, set saturation) only change the Hue devices that are connected to the hub. The Zigbee bulbs do not change.

When I go to the device for the Zigbee bulbs, these commands all work for the Zigbee bulb...just when not part of the group.

Interesting. Try going into the Group app (not the device now) for that group and at least hit "Done" in case the Sengleds didn't register their Zigbee group ID for some reason. You may also want to experiment with the other options. I generally have better luck with on/off optimization disabled and Zigbee group broadcasting enabled,' for example, but perhaps things are different in your environment.
