Good Morning Everyone
I'm in the process of replacing my pool pump and filter and it got me thinking about integrating it into my HE environment. The pool pump itself is easy. But I also have a valve that controls bubbles into a part of the pool. I have a done a few searches and 24v actuators are available to control the valves. But at first glance they all say they need to plug into various controler boxes. My understanding is that valve actuators are simply applying 24v to turn the valve. I currently have a 240VAC to 24 VDC transformer by the pool. I was hoping someone could give me some guidance about using a combination of 24VDC valve actuator, possibly a aeotec nano switch and my current 240 to 24 transformer. My end goal is to control the valve for bubbles using hubitat and Google Home. Is this even possible ?

Here's what I did. Been going strong for 3 years now. Essentially used a GE switch to switch a 120v relay that connects a 24v transformer to a Handy valve actuator.
