Currently dimmable lights "auto-adjust" their functionality depending on size...choose a 1x2, 2x1, or 1x1 tile and you get a on/off toggle when you click on the bulb icon, and the three-dot option in the right corner gets you a full control pop-up. Choose a 2x2 or larger and you have both toggle and full control.
The fan tiles lack this "auto-adjust" flexibility/convenience for some reason. If you set the tile size to a 1x1, 1x2, or 2x1 size w/attribute left at default Fan Control the tile is not functional and does nothing if you click on the fan icon. If you click on the three dots then you get normal fan control pop-up:

Can we get the fan tile updated to behave like dimmable lights tiles? Enable on/off toggle via fan icon on 1x1 , 1x2, 2x1 tiles, and offer full functionality on a 2x2 and larger? It would be really nice to be able to just size the tile to get the desired functionality as w/lights, rather than having to go through additional settings (four or five additional clicks, woah is me! 
) for each fan.
Not sure if this was just missed, or is problemmatic to implement? Thanks for considering...
