I am planning to buy some devices at https://www.itead.cc/ and use DHL shipment.
I am located in California. I am planning to use DHL. Are you aware of any custom obligations?
Founded some info in Reddit pointing that if the purchase is under 800$ I don't have to pay any customs.
Anyone here uses Itead? do you recommend other places to buy these types of products?

I have bought several Sonoff sensors, mostly from Alibaba. In Canada, I have not had to pay duties. Unfortunately, I can’t speak to the situation in the states...

I've made a few purchases directly from itead.cc as well and have never had to pay extra--and my orders were way below $800. I'm in the US.

I recall using the cheapest method, but to see what it was, I just looked up my old e-mails and it did appear as "Special Line."

Impressive. I used "Special line" and I expected a long wait. They are already in my hands only 11 days later.
