iPhone app won't register phone as a device. I get a time out error then I click on add device and i get dumped into the settings page on the app.
Log out of the app then log in (while on the same lan) and it should prompt you to create the device
Thanks for the reply. Logged out, logged in, I get loading devices. I get a time out error, I click on ok I click on create device on the bottom of the screen, takes me to settings page logout…. Cycle continues
Very strange indeed. I'm going to assume you are on the latest IOS.. Remove the app. Shut down the phone then power it back up. Reinstall the app from the app store and try again and see what happens. I've never seen this issue with the ios app myself. If it continues to happen, do a soft reset on the hub.
Goto settings>>Backup and Restore.
Click download at the bottom of the page and save the file to your pc
Goto yourhubip:8081 and click soft reset and follow instructions
After reboot it will prompt you at the bottom to restore from file. Use the one you saved to your pc. This will ensure nothing on the hub is corrupt and hanging up anything.
Try logging in with your iphone app again.
We’ll I get the same results. I tried every you suggested. BTW this is a new device. I only have 1 tilt sensor so I didn’t bother backing up and restoring.

It sounds like your hub isn't connected to the cloud. Do you happen to have any messages in the upper right hand corner of your hub's web interface? If so, could you please tell us what that (those) message(s) are...
It said not connected to the cloud !
I set the hub to the correct time then dn ld an update. Then rebooted and it connected to the cloud and I was able to add my phone! Thanks for pointing me in the cloud direction. We’ll see if it sticks.
