Maybe I’m not thinking this through, but I would like to automate Phillips Hue Formulas specifically to control a ‘Living Scene’ that will turn on at sunset and turn off +30 minutes after the mode switches to ‘Night’.
Anyway, I see that Alexa discovers Hue formulas as ‘Devices’. Is there a way that HE can recognize this same device?
Have you tried to do this with Rule Machine and scenes.
From the way you are describing what you are trying to achieve this is a very simple rule.
Do you need some guidance?
If so perhaps a bit more information will be needed.
It’s been a while since I tried this with RM and maybe it is better, but Hue Labs does a much better job of transitioning between colors. That was my primary reason.
