Philips Hue smart dimmer switch

I have done a search on this forum and it was mentioned the driver was included in hubitat now. I can't see how to get my hub to see them. I added hue addon and the bridge and lights show fine but it isn't showing my smart dimmers switches. TIA for any help

I believe you can only use the dimmers if you connect them directly to HE. You don’t see them via Hue in HE.

Ok any idea how to go about this?

You'd need to delete from Hue, then reset them.

  1. Remove the dimmer from Hue
  2. Paperclip in the back until you see the orange light (around 10 seconds)
  3. Whilst the LED is blinking, search for devices on HE
  4. Device should be found, and assigned the "Philips Dimmer Button Controller"

You can then use the Button Controller app to assign the buttons to functions and rules.

Most of mine are connected to Hue, but I do have a few directly connected to HE too. :+1:

I thought.....at last something to replace my aqara wireless switches, it arrived today so why would they make a faceplate so small that it doesnt cover a UK wall light fitting :frowning:

Apparently the new Model has a bigger plate!
