Philips hue motion sensors

I have been trying to sort out issues with my Philips Hue Motion sensors. I have a Hue hub running all my bulbs on channel 15, my Hubitat is on channel 20 and runs battery devices and also now has three power outlets as near as possible to the affected motion sensors. I have a wiser using zigbee channel 14. My Wi-Fi is on channel 11 and I have turned off my other Wi-Fi channel.

I tried changing the zigbee channel but that didn’t seem to work, they never connected, hence I turned off the Wi-Fi channel that could be interfering and went back to channel 11.

So my zigbee hue wall controllers never seem to lose contact, my smart things sensor likewise despite being similar distances to the hue inside sensor having issues. Two of my other Philips sensors likewise do not seem to have issues, one of which is outside, but I have three that do.

The lounge sensor has a zigbee power outlet 7 foot below (& a wall controller 4 foot below) it but it just seems to never make contact once it is found and pairing started. It is displaying legacy data from two weeks ago, before I temporarily connected it to the hue hub before then removing and re-pairing to Hubitat this morning. Moving it to be sat on the Hubitat hub does not seem to make a difference. It also never seems to present itself to pair again. The log shows

One of the outside sensors has a zigbee power outlet about 8 feet below it but on the inside. That seems to occasionally appear as a found sensor when pairing zigbee devices but also does not seem to complete pairing properly The remaining sensor is also outside but has a sensor on the wall immediately behind it. I haven’t tried problem solving that device yet.

No device is more than 25 foot from the hub and all the ‘problem sensors’ work ok on the hue hue. I also can’t see the affected devices in the routing table, but I also can’t see others that are working but have two unknown devices that I struggle to track down.

I personally don't think that's necessarily a positive.

Are these outlets new, as in new zigbee version?

I have 8 Hue motion sensors and have no problems pairing directly to the hub. I have no repeaters, yet...all batteries.

However, the other day I re-paired something, I think it was a Hue motion, and it got stuck on "initializing". Never happened before. Choosing the option "pair in the clear", or something like that, got it to pair.

Also, don't forget to factory reset before pairing, as the directions on the device page say. Can't hurt. I think you keep the paperclip inserted until it does its blinking...more than just the momentary push for pairing.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the "found a device that was previously paired" stuff. It was giving me that for things that were still successfully paired and reporting nicely.
