Philio psm08 door sensors

I have several Philio Brand PSM08 contact sensors. I used many with a Vera hub but this is not like adding them to those hubs.

Do I now need a driver and rule to make it appear open and closed on the dashboard?

nothing in HPM for generic contacts so any help or direction would be great.

Have you tried the built-in "Generic Z-Wave Plus Contact Sensor" driver? What are you using now?

Before you start digging into Dashboard, make sure it works as expected from the device detail page. If it doesn't work there, it won't work anywhere, including Dashboard. That is, make sure you see "contact: open" and "contact: closed" under "Current States" (top right of that page) when you open and close the sensor, indicating the driver is working correctly.

"Generic Z-Wave Plus Contact Sensor" driver?

I see this driver mentioned in a couple posts but I cant find it grrrr. is it in built in apps or perhaps the HPM application I just learned about>
how do I install that driver if you have time to explain and where from?
I dont have any open or closed information in that screenshot is where I see that?

This is built-in. You do not need to install anything. Look also for "Generic Z-Wave Contact Sensor" (actually can't remember if the Plus one exists, but for your device I'd use it if it does).

The driver is the "Type" dropdown on the device detail page if you are not aware.

Well that worked! I just learned a little more to go forward. I see it has a dynamic icon on the dashboard now showing open /closed. I am humbled and thankful.
