I am migrating from Vera to HE and have a number of these sensors. They pair nicely and I used the PST02 inbuilt driver which gives light, temp and battery status. However the motion sensor does not work.
Reaching for the basic z-wave tool I checked the parameters against the manual. The changes from the default I went for were:

5 1 4 => 12
6 1 4 => 5
7 1 22 => 6

this gives me motion active but does not report inactive. I then switched 7 back to 22 which should enable motion off. But now I get no motion reports either on or off.

Does anyone know what I am missing?

I don't use the build in driver, but Para7 = 22 works for me. With the activated notification report (instead of binary report) I got similar problems.
Sure that the parameter change was sucessfull? The basic tool needs device wakeup for transferring the parameter,

Thanks @kunpet. I think I went binary so will reverse that. Appreciate your confirmation that 22 is OK.

I can't get these to report motion start and end! All the other values report fine.

I have the following settings:

Version Report - FirmwareVersion: 1.24, ProtocolVersion: 4.05, HardwareVersion: 1

parameterNumber:1, size:1, value:0
parameterNumber:0, size:1, value:0

Could someone with a working setup compare? or perhaps suggest a better driver than the built in one?

I also have firmware 1.24 and I use a driver of Denny Page (for PAT02 devices) with my own modification:

I've added my working parameter presets there.
